Thank you to the members who sent in over 30 entries to the competition to design a new singlet and create a new name for our club. You can view all of the singlet design entries in the photo gallery here (click on a thumbnail to see a larger image).

The next step is for you all to provide feedback and participate in the first round of voting. Just download the two entry forms (Singlet Competition Voting Form and Club Name Voting Form), choose and rank your top 5 singlet designs and top 5 club names and email the entry forms to competition@olympicharriers.co.nz.

The cut-off date for your initial vote is Monday 27 February. These will then be the basis for the final vote at an SGM on Tuesday 20 March at 7:30 at the Clubrooms.

Club King and Queen of the Mountains (Saturday August 27th, 2011)

King of the Mountains
The weather last Saturday was perfect for the King and Queen of the Mountains race from Halswell quarry.

The course followed a steep climb up Kennedy's Bush Road, onto Kennedy's Bush Track, and then up and over a short hill and back down to the road.

Tony McManus left all in his wake as he equalled John Sheddan's record number of wins in this event. Judith Taylor showed her class coming in 3rd overall and first woman.
